About Jody

Jody I get intensely engaged with the subjects I'm photographing. I can't help it and I don't know why it happens. It could be a subject I previously had no personal interest in, but when I look through my lens it becomes something more than what I saw with my naked eye, and I'm hooked.

I am addicted to capturing those elusive moments, which is what makes me shoot day after day. It's like I'm an addict looking for a fix, and the quest for that fix makes me push the boundaries of my skill every time I pick up a camera.

I am affected most by my subject when I stop worrying about the technical aspect of shooting and focus on the moment. It doesn't matter how mundane the subject is because there is beauty to be found in everything when I look for it with my heart.
